Organic Pepper: Hot Cayenne Long Red Thin Pepper Planting Instructions:
Cayenne peppers prefer full sun and take around 80 days to grow. Sow the seeds indoors, between 8 and 10 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep and 12-18 inches apart. As the seedlings grow indoors, keep them in a warm and sunny place. Give them time to establish before transplanting outside. Set plants out 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost and transplant 2 inches deep and 12-18 inches apart, in rows 24-36" apart in raised beds.
Organic Pepper: Hot Cayenne Long Red Thin Pepper Harvesting Instructions:
The peppers are ready to harvest when they are firm and shiny with a crisp texture. Rather than pulling peppers from the plant, use garden shears to clip peppers from the plants. Store fresh peppers at 50 F and at least 90% humidity, if you can. They should be stored away from other fruits and vegetables.
